Can I BlogThis?

Here's an example of typing something and posting it throu BlogThis!, which hasn't worked for me in ages and ages. But Eric re-pasted the BlogThis! button into my toolbar, and figures it will work. I tried to explain to him that the problem shows up when you go to publish to a blog, not before, but he insisted I try one more time.
